I have a problem...

Hello, my name is Rob, and I am here today to talk about something that is very difficult for me. I have an admission to make and I am really worried what this might mean for my relationship, my friendships, and my family. But there's no way around it, I have come to terms with it for myself, and the only thing left to do now is just break down and admit it. Really, what other choice do I have? It can't get better until I am honest and open, right? So here it is and I hope I have all of your support during this tough time. Here goes -

I...kind of...I mean, not like a lot, but to an extent...like Nickelback.

I know...I know what you might say. That they are sheer cheese rock. But at the very same time they are also guilt rock (for me at least).

But hey, If Everyone Cared then they might sell something like 4 million copies of their latest album, right? Wait, whoops, I guess they did. Oh well, I guess there's no Savin' Me now. Oh man.

So let's have out with it. What are YOUR guilty pleasures? No, not you Fuse. I'm talking about you, yes you in the corner, you in the spotlight, Losing Your Religion. I want to hear all about your secret love of Kelly Clarkson, because I am just a sick bastard like that. Also it's a perfect segue into a brand new feature here on AtD: The Mixtape/Top 10 challenge. This is where I throw it out to y'all (and I know RyTunes, Joyful Girl and Doughnutman will have a ball with this, because we tend to discuss these things in our spare time anyway).

Here's how it works: I give you the topic and then depending on (mostly my mood) you come up with a mixtape or top 10 list (a la Doughnutman, but don't tread on him). If a whole mix is a bit of a tall order, then ya can just suggest a song, but for bonus points suggest where in the mix it would go, since order is just as important as song selection when it comes to mix mastering (right, Mike?)

We're going to start with mixes. Your Guilty Pleasure mix. Go for it!

And if you feel compelled to put on a little Nickelback, it's okay, it can be our little secret :)
