Live Earth Concert Coming to NJ

Giants Stadium will host the U.S. Live Earth concert on 7/7/07. The landmark concerts set to raise awareness and activism for an injured planet visits the Garden State. Maybe this means there is hope that someone will clean up Secaucus:

NEW YORK -- Organizers today announced sixteen of the headliners who will perform at the U.S. leg of the 7-continent, 24-hour Live Earth concerts on 7/7/07. The concert will be held at Giants Stadium in New Jersey, Live Earth Founder and Executive Producer Kevin Wall said. Tickets for the show go on sale Monday, April 16 at 10 a.m. EDT.

Meanwhile the U.K. version of the massive global concert has also been uncovered and features the star power of the Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bloc Party, and Snow Patrol among many others. The event will take place at Wembley Stadium in London and ticketing begins on April 13.

South Africa: The Cradle of Human Kind, Maropeng near Johannesburg
Japan: Tokyo Dome, Tokyo
China: Steps of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai
