Do it for Gungi!

We are big fans of using the many different aspects and powers of music to promote and support great causes. Here's one that is considerably more personal than we've done before. Please help support an eminent, 'behind the scenes' musical hero who has been diagnosed with cancer.

From Friends of Gungi:

Gordon "Gungi" Paterson is a legendary figure in the music industry, having been a highly respected engineer, tour and production manager. From his early days in the UK with acts such as Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, he was a mainstay of the 80's touring scene with bands like Megadeth, and continued through the 2000's with bands such as Live, System Of A Down, Tears For Fears and most recently Fiona Apple.
The site is hosting a benefit raffle for Gungi where you can enter to win one of several great prizes, including: Ultimate Ears Pro headphones, a Park City, UT vacation, a James Brown signed bass guitar, and a signed Takamime acoustic guitar used by Live principal Ed Kowalczyk. There are also other items up for raffle with more to be added in the future. Each entry costs $10 and you can enter as often as you like. Paypal is accepted so getting involved is a breeze! Just head here and see the list of all the items currently being raffled on the lower left-hand side.

You can also read Gungi's story so far, or simply make a regular donation to help him in this critical fight.

Happy bidding!

And we're praying for you Gungi!
