One of the highlights of last night's Golden Globe awards was easily the following:
Later, Sacha Baron Cohen accepted the award for best actor in a musical or comedy as himself, and said that, when he made “Borat,” “I saw some dark parts of America, an ugly side of America, a side of America that rarely sees the light of day. I refer, of course, to the anus and testicles of my co-star, Ken Davitian.”Hey the man raises a good point. That is some serious sacrifice that Mr. Cohen endured to gross the rest of us out. Talk about taking one for the team, oi vey. At least it was justly rewarded in the end.After the crowd, Davitian included, stopped laughing, the comedian addressed his co-star and switched to metaphor: “When I was in that scene, and I stared down and saw your two wrinkled Golden Globes on my chin, I thought to myself, I’d better win a bloody award for this.”
That he did, and perhaps he should win an award for best acceptance speech, too. Without losing his audience, Sacha Baron Cohen continued, “And then when my 300-pound co-star decided to sit on my face and squeeze the oxygen from my lungs, I was faced with a choice. Death, or to breathe in the air that had been trapped in a small pocket between his buttocks for 30 years. Kenneth, if it was not for that rancid bubble, I would not be here today.”

I strongly disagree with the powerful and great admin. The most glorious admin had probably switched over to "the daily show" or some other "program" that appears on "other channels" but the best moment was Forest Whitaker taking home the award for best actor and not being able to remember his speech because he is so moved.
I'll sign off my posts next time. I actually didn't watch the show, I just read the about it this morning and thought that was hilarious. So if I have no authority to say it was the best moment, I just thought it was worth pointing out. I probably should have said one of the highlights...I'll change that now
